  • Tell us something about your brand?

Bhava (pronounced as bhāva) means internal feeling or emotion towards something. Everything starts with a Bhava. Everything we see evokes a Bhava. Bhava endeavors to contemporize traditions. Bhava is free from any externalities, it is simple and effortless. Playing with traditional craft techniques, Bhava maintains its minimalism and earthiness. The idea is to combine traditional know-how and fabrics to construct modern silhouettes.

  • What would you have been doing if you didn’t get into designing?

Having done my masters in History, I would have been a teacher.

  • One fashion mistake that most men and women make?

It differs for men and women. For men, since it's the wedding season and most of the men are dressed in their suits, a common mistake is they tend to use both their blazer buttons. For women, I really think one cannot step out in those Flashy tracksuits. Just doesn't make sense.

  • Describe your designs or products on TSL in three words?

    Simple. Fuss-free. Wearable.

  • One celebrity you'd love to dress?

Still need to think about this one. As for now, whoever wears Bhava is automatically a celebrity to me!

  • If you could save only 1 piece of clothing from your wardrobe, what would that be and why?

It's definitely going to be my floral print maxi that I will soon be incorporating in Bhava as well. It's super relaxed and extremely wearable.
